Hey, thank you for being here. It's crazy that I am fortunate enough to have so many people following my art journey.

I've thought a lot about what's important in art, and I think the most important thing is having people to share it with. It's been a rough few months as I've been trying my best to improve.

I don't really know how to measure success, but I imagine it's having the amazing privilege of spending your free time on your passions.

To celebrate this milestone, I decided to dive into two traditional projects.

First, I painted my first figure.

Second, I did a piece in a notebook, traditionally.

Doing these has shown me that I am getting better and that one day all of the practice and hardships will be worth it. I hope you like these!

In the spirit of tricks and treats, I am reaching out to hopefully improve in a fun way. Here are two different ways you can participate:

1. Pick a piece of mine and give it a makeover. Include spoopy elements, corrections, or whatever. Include constructive critique for things you notice as you do! Post a link here to your art so everyone can see it! If you don't feel comfortable doing a paintover, that's OK too! Drop any extra critique below.

2. Pick a piece of yours that you think I could help with. I'll follow the same thing and do my best. Also, let others know if it's ok if they chime in with critique, too!

I can't believe there are 200+ wonderful people here to see my art. I hope I don't let you down. THANK YOU for being my driver. I will continue to improve and find out where my limit is.

This year, I told myself I would put myself out there, build a portfolio, and one day communicate with some artists I admire. (BTW, YOU are fantastic; I look up to YOU.)

Since I have started posting, I been able to see so much inspiring work from others. I have also been featured which hopefully inspired someone out there.

If you are an artist or someone who wants to be, don't let yourself be in the way of what could be a success. I look forward to what you will create.

I want to mention how grateful I am for you reading this or looking at my stuff. I have recently been on the front page now four times in the last two weeks, and it's given me an extreme desire to grow and get better so I can create things you will like. I know this is just the start but it's good to celebrate when we can. Thank you.

I can't believe I got onto the front page again. Never did I think that the person who consistently scored the lowest in all of their art classes would ever find any success.

Art is hard, and it's incredible that we somehow ended up here.

Today, I woke up to a beautiful surprise: being on the front page with my art. I have been on Newgrounds for over a decade now, and I never imagined that I would be creating art on it. Thank you for looking at my stuff, and thank you for thinking it deserved to be seen.

Don't give up on creating; everyone struggles the entire time. It doesn't seem like it, but every creator you love has probably felt like giving up at some point. You can do this, whatever it is. I believe in you!
