The mood and composition here are relatable and beautiful.

Thank you for this nice comment.

Your penmanship is excellent here. Also, I love the advice. It's essential to repay favors whenever possible.

HOW DID I NOT KNOW YOU EXISTED? I'm floored. LIKE YOU MIGHT BE MY NEW FAV ARTIST. Your work is unique, perfectly blending manga and paint fluency. Thank you for sharing your character with the world, and thank you for including so much in the description. I have stalked your entire catalog, and I wish I could comment on all of them. Your work inspires me, and I hope to one day get to where you are!

SketchMeNot responds:

AHHHH SORRY FOR MY LATE REPLY, BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Oh my gosh it's super duper sweet of you to say all that! It really means a lot to hear that! Thank you so much for enjoying my art and my little character. It really means the world! (^w^)

I love this piece! I also adore that the story of Tomie was inspired by a classmate who just disappeared one day. Junji Ito is unique, and this fan art is 🔥.

SketchMeNot responds:

Aww thank you so much! Glad you like it! x)

I love your storytelling. It elevates each of your artworks, and you can tell there is a lot of thought behind each one.

Waterina responds:

Thank you

I want to catch you posting more on NG.

DumbassReay responds:

I have wonderful news.

That ink and texture is 🤌. Every stroke here is calculated and beautiful. Your line economy is lovely. I want to especially point out the hair as it does a great job of flowing while holding shape.

RickSteubens responds:

thank you, im going hard in the paint for a silversmith etching aesthetic on another thing, so i guess line practice really does pay off lmao

1hr 42mins ?!!? Here I thought I was quick at about 3hrs a piece. Congrats on the efficient workflow. Good use of texture and blur on the wall!

NazaDraws responds:

Thanks! That really means a lot 💖

Great color choices!

This is a beautiful tribute to Arin and his roots in NG. Metal Gear Awesome was one of the first animations I showed friends when it came out. Arin may never know how many people he inspired to do art. I hope he sees pieces like this, though, and feels inspired.

Good work at getting character likenesses and references all into one composition. The expressions here are great.

GnarlyHaggler responds:

Thank you very much!

Do something nice today. It's incredible to see so many people using what little time they have to create something and share it.
Whatever you do, don't give up.
