Thanks for the answer to the question! You have some great insights and have thought a lot about it. I like that you point out that being creative online feels like it has responsibilities built in. In truth, we share things online and set the expectations ourselves. This helps a lot in stepping back and realizing that unless we have agreed on a commission, we don't owe anyone anything.

ADR3-N responds:

Even if you agree to the commission, if money hasn't been exchanged, you CAN back out. And if it has, you can give a refund and point them in the direction they should go. This isn't slavery. You are allowed to say no!

And you're absolutely right, the expectations of the world are irrelevant. Your own expectations are the ones you're working with as a creative. And we are all our own worst critics when it comes to our work.

Thanks for tuning in!

Aalasteir responds:

It can be very difficult to manage our own expectations, and I believe they can do a lot of damage. It's true that you don't owe anyone anything, and you have the power to make the decisions that keep you mentally sane. Don't make an enemy out of yourself; you should be your own hero.

Happy to see you on NG. Also, I know you may have moved away from your older mashups, but I still listen to your two-door cinema megalovania mash. You are a great DJ, and I'm excited to see what's next! If you ever want an art image cover, just ask.

CactusTeam responds:

thats crazy omg hahaha, thanks for sticking around !!! ^_^

Do something nice today. It's incredible to see so many people using what little time they have to create something and share it.
Whatever you do, don't give up.
